Beer the water of life

The history of beer stretches at least back to the 5th millennium BC, something that makes beer one of the oldest drinks that man has created. There are writings off beer traced back to ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. No one knows for sure when they began to brew beer in Norway, but Norwegians of the Middle Ages believed that it was Odin who had taught men to brew beer. The first traces of Beer drinking in the Region are from around1500 AD. The Finnish epic Kalevala, written down in the 19 th century, but based on long oral traditions, focuses more on the origin of beer than human origins. With so deep roots in the Norwegian culture, it is not strange that the vast majority of us Thirst for this noble drink.
